ABA Connect LLC is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based services that support the communication, behavioral, and developmental needs of children and families. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our multidisciplinary team. This part-time role allows you to make a meaningful difference in a Clinic setting with the support of an experienced supervising SLP.


Position Summary

The SLPA will assist in delivering speech and language therapy services, implement treatment plans, collect session data, and collaborate with educators, clinicians, and families. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic about supporting children with diverse communication needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to children under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

  • Support intervention goals related to articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication.

  • Assist in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.

  • Work collaboratively across clinic-based environment.

  • Collect, document, and maintain accurate data on client progress.

  • Assist with speech and language screenings (not evaluations).

  • Prepare therapy materials, visual supports, and activities.

  • Communicate effectively with supervising SLP, teachers, BCBAs, RBTs, parents, and caregivers.

  • Follow ASHA guidelines, state regulations, and HIPAA/FERPA confidentiality standards.


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting, Communication Sciences & Disorders, or a related field.

  • Current SLPA license/registration (as required by state).

  • Experience working in school, clinical, or pediatric settings preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to follow treatment plans and accept supervision effectively.
